Take a tour of Adobe After Effects CS5, one of the primary tools used to create visual effects for film. This comprehensive class covers all of the basics including:

  • Learn how to manipulate footage over time with keyframes
  • Composite still and video assets to create a convincing shot
  • Get comfortable with using elements prepared with other software, like Adobe Photoshop
  • Workflow optimization techniques between Photoshop and After Effects
  • Titles and text manipulation.
  • Create and control the Ken Burns effect to create an image slideshow.
  • Color correct your footage to give your video effects an extra punch
  • Finish them off by adding motion blur
  • Wrangle the render manager to export your final video
