

Pro Series: Digital Photography Boot Camp
Go Beyond Just Taking Snapshots and Start Creating Photographic Works of Art
This field-based course introduces students to a comprehensive set of photographic tools, skills and techniques designed to expand the photographer’s creative horizons (both in-field and when working in the digital darkroom with Photoshop®). Want to get out of “automatic” mode and create optimized exposures? This class provides the introductory and advanced photography skills to make it happen.
Through in-depth field assignments, on-site location discussions, hands-on instruction and personalized guidance from seasoned professional photographers, students will be challenged to engage their own photographic interests and creative ideas, as well as master core concepts of digital photography. This course shows you the key techniques involved in creating dynamic and visually interesting compositions. Topics and related field trips may include landscape, wildlife, urban landscapes, macro, portraiture and night photography.

Who Should Attend: Digital Photography Boot Camp Beginner – Intermediate | No Previous Photography or Photoshop® experience required.
No matter if you’re looking to turn photography into a profession or just improve your picture-taking skills, this course is for you.
PLEASE NOTE: Students are required to bring their own DSLR camera. A tripod is extremely helpful and strongly recommended. An assortment of quality lenses, ranging from wide- angle to telephoto (covering the 18-200mm range), is also recommended. DMA is not responsible for lost or stolen equipment.
