Explore Advanced Digital Photography and Photoshop®

Discover a program designed specifically to sharpen your photographic skills and professional image-editing techniques while exploring Photoshop® CS5 and its many features. Daily creative photo assignments give inspiration to explore advanced shooting techniques. Work with your own digital camera to shoot daily photo assignments independently or join the instructor for additional guidance. Back in the classroom you’ll refine and stylize your images, using editing techniques that world-class photographers apply to their work.

• Working in full manual mode
• Optimizing Digital Workflow – Intro to Adobe® Bridge®
• Shooting with RAW – Working with Adobe® Camera RAW®
• Shooting long exposures
• Working with filters
• Night Photography techniques
• Advanced Photoshop® techniques – Intro to working with composites, masks & layers
• Portraits and advanced portraiture-retouching techniques
• HDR Imagery & Panoramic stitching

Course may vary slightly based on student expertise & class interest. All students work on their own personal projects, which they keep.
