Alan Berman

DMA Instructor

  • Web Design

Alan Berman has created web sites for organizations in the performing arts,
medical, real estate, and education fields since the mid-1990s. He is an
expert in database-driven technologies and web standards, creating dynamic
sites that are accessible, scalable, artistic, and user-friendly. He is also
a book designer, having created over 30 books for small publishers in Los
Angeles. Alan has taught web development, computer graphics, animation
programming, music, and English in high school, community college, and
university settings.

Alan currently teaches web development and programming at El Camino Real
High School in Woodland Hills, California. He has taught technology classes
for California State University Extended Learning, Chaffey College, and at
the annual Computer-Using Educators (CUE) conference; he has also been
active with the CUE Los Angeles affiliate, serving as board member and
webmaster. Alan has certificates in web technologies and programming from
the International Webmasters Association and is a member of the Web Standards Group.
